Haiti and it's people have been close to my heart going on 15 years now. For too long the Haitian people have lived in undesirable conditions. It really tugs and my heartstrings. I have made several trips to Haiti to help as much as I can. It seems I can't do enough. A fund to help Haitians was established a few years back. It's called the Evelyn Boyd Haitian Fund. So I work to raise funds along with making my yearly trip to Haiti to do what I can do.
